Gold Prices Decline Further in Pakistan and International Markets
Gold prices fell again in Pakistan and the international market on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold dropping by Rs1,800 per tola in the local market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs1,800, bringing the price down to Rs466,136 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs1,543, reaching Rs399,636.
Gold prices also fell in the international market, where the price of gold decreased by $18 per ounce to $4,436 per ounce.
The decline in international gold prices has also affected the domestic market, resulting in a reduction in the prices of gold per tola and per 10 grams in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of silver increased by Rs67 per tola, reaching Rs7,179 per tola.
Gold prices remain closely linked to developments in the international market, with changes in global bullion prices having a direct impact on rates in Pakistan. Currency movements and domestic market conditions can also influence local gold prices.
Gold remains an important asset for both consumers and investors in Pakistan, particularly as a traditional form of savings and investment. Therefore, fluctuations in its price often attract significant attention from traders, investors and the general public.
The latest decline comes as gold prices continue to experience volatility in global markets, with investors closely monitoring international economic developments and market trends.
