LPG Price Increased by Rs4.33 per Kilogram from September 1

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs4.33 per kilogram, effective September 1.

According to the notification issued by OGRA, the new price of LPG has been fixed at Rs258.65 per kilogram.

The increase will also affect domestic LPG cylinders. According to the OGRA notification, the price of an 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has increased by Rs51.17.

Following the latest increase, the new price of an 11.8-kilogram LPG cylinder has been fixed at Rs3,052.09.

The price revision will come into effect from September 1 and is expected to affect households and consumers who rely on LPG for cooking and other domestic needs.

LPG is widely used across Pakistan, particularly in areas where piped natural gas is unavailable or supply remains limited. Any increase in LPG prices therefore directly impacts household budgets and transportation and commercial users who depend on the fuel.

The latest notification from OGRA formally sets the revised consumer prices for LPG for the new month.

Consumers are expected to pay the revised rates from September 1, although actual retail prices may vary depending on local market conditions and distribution costs.

The increase comes amid continued fluctuations in energy prices, with consumers closely monitoring changes in fuel and utility costs.
