PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports and Youth Affairs Department on Wednesday appointed the Martial Arts player Rizwan as a coach.
At the direction of Taj Muhammad Tarand, Advisor to the Sports and Youth Affairs Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Tashfeen Haider, the Director General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invited martial arts player Rizwan from Bajaur district for a meeting.
Following the viral video of Rizwan on social media, it has been decided to appoint him as a coach in Bajaur district on a daily wage basis for an initial period of three months. At the end of this term, his performance will be evaluated, and a decision will be made regarding his continued employment.
Rizwan expressed his gratitude to the government and the sports department, promising to work diligently and honestly to develop talented players for the province.
