TikToker Ayesha Gilamana Murder Case: Court Grants 4-Day Remand of Two Shooters
RAWALPINDI: A local court has granted a four-day physical remand of two alleged shooters arrested in connection with the murder of TikToker Shamsu Bibi, known as Ayesha Gilamana, handing them over to police for further investigation.
The suspects were produced before Area Magistrate Muhammad Asif Iqbal during a hearing of the case. The investigating officer requested physical remand to allow police to question the suspects, investigate their alleged roles and collect further evidence related to the killing.
After hearing the request, the court approved the four-day physical remand and handed the two suspects over to police custody.
Separately, the court also issued orders regarding three other suspects arrested in connection with the case. The father, brother and uncle of the deceased were sent to Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand over allegations that they were involved in planning the murder.
According to police sources, Ayesha Gilamana was allegedly targeted and killed in a planned shooting on August 14. Investigators are examining whether the shooting was carried out as part of a premeditated plan and are working to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police said the investigation is continuing from multiple angles, with authorities examining the alleged roles of all arrested suspects. Investigators are also working to collect and verify evidence that could help establish responsibility for the killing.
