KP Government Orders Major Reshuffle, Announces Key Transfers and Postings
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced major transfers, postings and promotions of senior provincial officers across various departments.
According to notifications issued by the Establishment and Human Resource Management Department, Muhammad Shiraz (PMS, BS-19), Additional Secretary in the Science and Technology and Information Technology Department, has been transferred and appointed as Director General of the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) with immediate effect.
Former KDA Director General Rehmat Ali (PMS, BS-18) has been removed from the post and directed to report to the Human Resource Management Department.
Changes have also been made in the Fisheries Department following a decision by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Service Tribunal. Senior Director Fisheries Muhammad Shafi Marwat (BPS-20) has been promoted and appointed Director General Fisheries, while former DG Fisheries Zubair Ali (BPS-20) has been posted as Senior Director Fisheries.
Separately, the KP Labour Department has ordered the immediate transfer and posting of 13 officers and officials across different offices in the province.
Among the changes, Assistant Director Kashmala Iqbal has been transferred from Charsadda Road, Peshawar, to Hayatabad Commercial, while Assistant Director Mudassar Ahmed has been posted from the Registration Section at the department’s head office to Charsadda Road.
Assistant Director Kaleemullah has been transferred from University Road, Peshawar, to Abbottabad. Noor Muhammad and Fawad Siddiqui have also been transferred from Industrial Estate Hattar and posted to University Road, Peshawar, and Peshawar City respectively.
Assistant Director Mamoon Zafar has been posted as Assistant Director (Admin) at the Labour Department’s head office in Peshawar. Assistant Director Baseerullah has been transferred from Buner to Warsak Road, Peshawar.
Other officials have also been transferred to different positions in Hattar, Buner, Mohmand, Karak, Abbottabad and District Khyber.
Computer Operator Masoodur Rehman has additionally been assigned the charge of Assistant Director (OPS), Registration Section, at the Labour Department’s head office.
The Establishment and Human Resource Management Department said all transfers, postings and appointments would take effect immediately.
