Mir Raza Murder Case: Parents and Sister Appear Before Judicial Commission
Drivers Who Transported the Body to Hospital, Nursery Staff and MLO Dr. Osama Sheikh Also Appear Before Commission
Karachi: The second hearing of the Judicial Commission formed in connection with the Mir Raza murder case was held at the Sindh High Court, with Justice Umar Sial presiding over the proceedings. Mir Raza’s parents and sister, along with other key witnesses, appeared before the commission and recorded their statements.
Mir Raza’s father, Mir Hussain, told the commission that his wife could provide more details about when his son went missing. He said he received a call from Mir Raza’s friend Haseem at 4:14 a.m., informing him that Mir Raza’s social media accounts had been deleted and asking the family to check on him.
According to Mir Hussain, Mir Raza’s fiancée, Salma, had contacted Haseem and informed him about the situation. He said he checked his son’s room and found that his belongings were still there. He then woke his daughter and informed her about the situation.
Mir Hussain further stated that Haseem’s two cousins became involved in the matter, while Razik also arrived at his residence. He said two managers of Mir Raza’s shop, Sherry and Kazim, also reached the house.
The father said the family subsequently contacted an organization associated with the Malap Missing Persons app, which shared a post about Mir Raza’s disappearance on social media.
During the hearing, Mir Raza’s parents and sister appeared before the commission along with drivers who transported the body to the hospital, nursery staff members and Medico-Legal Officer (MLO) Dr. Osama Sheikh.
The commission recorded statements from various individuals and reviewed details related to the incident and available evidence. Further witnesses and relevant individuals may also appear before the commission as the proceedings continue.
The Judicial Commission is examining different aspects of the case to establish the facts surrounding the incident and determine the circumstances and factors involved.
