Peshawar traffic police officials rewarded for better performance

Peshawar: Chief Traffic Officer Dr Zahid Ullah distributed appreciation certificates and cash rewards among traffic officers and personnel for their outstanding performance.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Zahid Ullah directed officers and personnel of City Traffic Police Peshawar to perform their duties while strictly following the policy of “Salam First, Kalam Later”, emphasizing respectful and courteous behavior toward citizens.

He said traffic officials and personnel should utilize all their capabilities to ensure effective enforcement of traffic laws and improve traffic management across the city.

The Chief Traffic Officer further stated that the department’s policy of reward and accountability would continue. Personnel demonstrating exceptional performance would be encouraged and rewarded, while those found negligent in performing their duties would face disciplinary action in accordance with the rules.

Dr Zahid Ullah also directed traffic officials and personnel to continue operations without interruption against vehicles parked in No-Parking Zones across the city. He stressed that illegal parking creates obstacles for traffic flow and causes inconvenience to citizens.

He further ordered that operations against encroachments should also continue without any break. According to the Chief Traffic Officer, removing illegal encroachments and ensuring compliance with traffic regulations are essential for maintaining a smooth and disciplined traffic system in Peshawar.

Dr Zahid Ullah urged traffic officials and personnel to perform their responsibilities with dedication, discipline and professionalism, while maintaining respectful relations with the public.
