DG ISPR Holds Interactive Session With Over 6,150 Summer Interns

RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) held a special interactive session with more than 6,150 male and female students participating in the ISPR Summer Internship 2026 across 21 stations nationwide.

During the comprehensive session, the DG ISPR discussed key national issues, including national security, counter-terrorism, information warfare and the challenges posed by social media.

The DG ISPR responded to students’ questions in detail and provided explanations on various issues. He also held a special meeting with the internship participants, shook hands with them and exchanged remarks in a friendly atmosphere.

Students participating in the programme also took autographs from the DG ISPR and appreciated the opportunity to interact with him directly. They described the meeting as a memorable experience.

The ISPR Summer Internship 2026 is aimed at familiarising young people with the role of the armed forces and current national security challenges. The programme also seeks to promote awareness among youth about information warfare, responsible engagement with social media and Pakistan’s narrative in the digital age.

The participation of more than 6,150 students across 21 stations highlights the programme’s focus on engaging young people and providing them with greater insight into national security and emerging challenges.
