Gold Prices Surge Again in Pakistan — Check Latest Rates

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices surged sharply in Pakistan and international markets on Thursday, just a day after the previous increase, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association.

The price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs13,700 per tola, taking the rate to Rs471,936 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs10,768, reaching Rs404,609.

Silver prices also recorded a significant increase in the domestic market. The price of one tola of silver climbed by Rs369, bringing the new rate to Rs7,169.

The sharp increase was not limited to Pakistan, as gold prices also witnessed a major jump in the international market. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the international price of gold increased by $137 per ounce, reaching $4,495 per ounce.

The latest rise comes just one day after gold prices had already recorded an increase, highlighting continued volatility in precious metals markets.

Gold remains one of the most closely watched commodities in Pakistan, with local prices influenced by international market trends as well as currency movements and domestic demand. Any major change in international gold prices can quickly affect rates in the local bullion market.

The latest increase is expected to draw further attention from investors, traders and consumers who closely monitor gold prices for investment and jewellery purchases.

Silver has also followed the upward trend, recording a notable increase alongside gold. The simultaneous rise in both precious metals reflects the ongoing movement in international and domestic bullion markets.

With gold prices now approaching the Rs472,000-per-tola level in Pakistan, market participants are closely watching the next trading sessions for any further changes.
