Rescue 1122 KP Promotes 27 Officers and Officials
PESHAWAR: Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has promoted 27 officers and officials in a special ceremony held at its Provincial Headquarters in Peshawar.
Secretary Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement Sohail Khan and Director General Rescue 1122 Shah Fahad attended the ceremony and placed new rank badges on the uniforms of the promoted personnel.
Under the Departmental Promotion Committee’s decisions, one Procurement Officer was promoted to Deputy Director Procurement (BPS-18), seven Emergency Officers to District Emergency Officer (BPS-18), and 19 Station House Incharges to Emergency Officer (BPS-17).
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary Relief Sohail Khan congratulated the promoted officials and praised Rescue 1122 personnel for serving the public with courage and dedication, particularly during difficult emergencies. He stressed the importance of higher education, professional training and certifications for career development.
He said the government would continue addressing genuine issues faced by Rescue 1122 employees and ensure merit, seniority and transparency in promotions and postings.
Director General Shah Fahad also congratulated the officers and highlighted the department’s commitment to merit-based recruitment, professional development and staff welfare. He urged the promoted personnel to carry out their new responsibilities with greater dedication and professionalism.
The ceremony concluded with prayers and best wishes for the promoted officers and officials.
