Pakistan’s IT Ministry and Meta Launch Small Business Growth Academy for SMEs

Registration Opens for Small Business Growth Academy; Training Sessions to Begin in September 2026

The Ministry of Information Technology and Meta have jointly launched the Small Business Growth Academy for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Pakistan.

According to the Ministry of IT, registration for the academy has opened, while training sessions are scheduled to begin in September 2026.

Under the program, more than 1,000 SMEs across Pakistan will receive free digital training. Participants will be trained in the use of modern digital and artificial intelligence-based tools to help improve their businesses and expand their online presence.

The ministry said women-led businesses and female entrepreneurs have been specially encouraged to participate in the program.

Participants will also receive training on using Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Business to reach more customers, promote their products and services, and expand their businesses through digital platforms.

The initiative aims to help Pakistani SMEs adopt modern technologies, improve their digital capabilities and benefit from the growing digital economy.

The Ministry of IT said interested business owners can register for the Small Business Growth Academy online.
