Peshawar Blast: Two Police Officers Among Seven Injured
Unidentified individuals allegedly threw explosive material near the Tarnab Farm police post, triggering a blast
PESHAWAR: At least seven people, including two police personnel, were injured in a blast near the Tarnab Farm police post in Peshawar on Wednesday, according to Rescue 1122.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Chamkani Police Station after unidentified individuals allegedly threw explosive material near the police post, resulting in a powerful explosion.
Rescue 1122 teams immediately responded to the incident following instructions from Peshawar District Emergency Officer Iftikhar Khan. Emergency personnel reached the site along with ambulances and provided first aid to the injured.
All seven injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment. Rescue officials said five ambulances and two fire vehicles were deployed at the scene to deal with the emergency situation.
District Emergency Officer Iftikhar Khan also reached the site and supervised the rescue operation. Authorities secured the area following the blast, while relevant teams began collecting evidence from the scene.
