iPhone 18 Pro design leaked a day before Apple event
Apple is set to unveil its new iPhone 18 lineup on September 9, with reports suggesting that the company will introduce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and its first-ever foldable iPhone at the event.
A day before the highly anticipated launch event, alleged footage showing the design of the iPhone 18 Pro models has surfaced online, offering a glimpse of what Apple’s upcoming flagship smartphones could look like.
According to the leaked footage, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to be available in four color options: Dark Cherry, Black, Sky Blue and Silver.
In terms of overall design, the new Pro models appear to closely resemble last year’s iPhone 17 Pro lineup. While major changes to the external design are not expected, Apple is reportedly focusing on significant improvements to the camera system.
One of the biggest upgrades could be the introduction of variable aperture technology in the main rear camera of both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The technology is expected to give users greater control over photography by allowing more flexibility in managing the amount of light entering the camera.
The new Pro models are also expected to feature Apple’s A20 Pro processor, along with a new modem. Reports suggest that Apple may also equip both devices with larger batteries, potentially improving battery life compared with the previous generation.
Pricing is another major talking point ahead of the launch. Reports indicate that the iPhone 18 Pro could start at around $1,099, which is more than Rs300,000 in Pakistani currency, depending on the exchange rate and taxes.
Earlier reports had suggested that Apple could increase the prices of its new iPhone models by at least $100, partly due to higher memory and component costs. However, the final pricing is expected to be confirmed during the official launch event.
Apple is also reportedly preparing to unveil its first foldable iPhone, which could become the most expensive smartphone in the company’s lineup. Some reports have suggested that its price could exceed $2,000.
If the reports prove accurate, Apple’s September 9 event could mark one of the company’s biggest iPhone launches, featuring upgraded cameras, a new processor, improved battery performance and the highly anticipated arrival of its first foldable iPhone.
However, the leaked design, specifications, colors and prices remain unconfirmed until Apple officially announces the devices.
