Samsung Reportedly Preparing Galaxy H1 Premium Wireless Headphones
Samsung is reportedly preparing to return to the premium over-ear wireless headphone market with a new device, internally referred to as Galaxy H1, which could rival Apple’s AirPods Max and Sony’s WH-1000X series.
Evidence of the upcoming headphones has reportedly been spotted in Samsung’s Galaxy Wearable app, where connection-status icons appear to indicate an over-ear wireless design. Leaked graphics show possible white, grey and black colour options, with some images featuring grey or green ear cushions.
The leaked visuals reportedly depict a broad headband and large ear cups, although Samsung has not confirmed that these represent the final design. The company is expected to unveil the headphones in early 2027 or during the spring, but no official launch date has been announced.
Rumours suggest the Galaxy H1 could feature active noise cancellation, ambient sound, advanced Bluetooth connectivity, an AI assistant and automatic switching between Galaxy devices. Samsung may also integrate its Seamless Codec Ultra High Quality technology to provide higher-resolution audio when paired with compatible Galaxy devices.
Samsung previously entered the wireless headphone market with the Level On Wireless Pro in 2015. A new Galaxy-branded over-ear headset could mark the company’s return to the premium audio segment and strengthen integration across its Galaxy ecosystem.
