Gold Price Continues to Decline, Per Tola Falls to Rs465,336
Gold becomes Rs800 cheaper per tola in Pakistan as prices also fall in the international market
Islamabad: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Tuesday, with the price of gold falling by Rs800 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, after the latest decline of Rs800, the price of one tola of gold has dropped to Rs465,336.
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs686, bringing the new price to Rs398,950. A day earlier, the price of gold had also declined by Rs1,800 per tola.
Silver prices also recorded a decline in the local market. According to the association, the price of silver fell by Rs50 per tola to Rs7,129, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs43 to Rs6,111.
Meanwhile, gold prices also declined in the international market. The price of gold fell by $8 per ounce to $4,428.
International silver prices also decreased, with the price falling by 50 cents to $66.50 per ounce.
According to market experts, if gold prices decline further in the international market, the trend could also affect the local bullion market in Pakistan. This may lead to further reductions in domestic gold prices in the coming days.
The recent decline in gold prices could provide some relief to consumers looking to purchase jewellery. However, fluctuations in international markets and Pakistan’s economic conditions may continue to influence local gold prices.
